Meet the Chef

Executive Chef James Barrett was born and raised in the southern part of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  As the grandson of a local farmer, Chef Barrett developed a love and respect for the local farming entrepreneurs, the food they provided along with the wide variety of food available through hunting and fishing the lands and surrounding bodies of water. 

This philosophy mirrors the core of Hyatt’s Thoughtfully Sourced Carefully Served philosophy, eating and being healthy, making it a natural match and easy to embrace in every meal that is prepared.
